INFORMATION LETTER
Dear colleagues,

We invite you to participate in the work of an international symposium “Molecular mechanisms of Synaptic Transmission Regulation” in memoriam of Professor Vladimir Skok that will be held at the Bogomolets Institute of Physiology ( Kyiv, Ukraine), September 27 – 29, 2007.
The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Physiological Society (U.K.) are the Sponsors of the Symposium, and the Bogomolets Institute of Physiology and International Center for Molecular Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are its organizers.
The symposium will include invited lectures presented by prominent neuroscientists (including colleagues of Prof. V. Skok) from different countries and also poster presentations that reflect the diversity of problems related to synaptic transmission in the central and autonomic nervous systems, and novel techniques and achievements in biochemistry and biophysics of synaptic receptors.

REGISTRATION FORM OF THE PARTICIPANT (see below) should be sent to Dr. H. Purnyn, Secretary of the Symposium Organizing Committee (riss@biph.kiev.ua) .

Proceedings of the Symposium will be published in an international journal, Neurophysiology/ Neirofiziologiya. The deadline for submission of the manuscripts is July 15, 2007. The manuscripts should be sent as electronic versions to
