General Information

Specialized Academic Council D 26.198.01 is a leading body within the system for the certification of highly qualified scientific personnel in Ukraine and has been operating at the O.O. Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Ukraine for more than 60 years.

According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 894 dated October 10, 2025, a new composition of the Specialized Academic Council has been approved for a term of three years with the right to accept dissertations for consideration and conduct defenses for the scientific degree of Doctor (Candidate) of Biological Sciences in the following specialties:

The personal composition of the Specialized Academic Council includes leading researchers from the O.O. Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology of the NAS of Ukraine and other scientific institutions, comprising 13 members.

Meetings of the Specialized Academic Council D 26.198.01 are usually held once a month, but no more than 12 meetings per year.

  • On March 11, 2025, a public defense of the dissertation by Andrii Valentynovych Dromaretskyi for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in specialty 03.00.02 – Biophysics will take place.
